Start a business! Sell your product during the holiday kids market at Young Art! Support sending internet to kids around the globe to gain access to online learning. Campers will use their creativity to ignite joy, understand how to market their product, and find value in giving back

Sample Activities Include


Drawing:

Learn essential sketching skills, practice proportions, study shading, and identify simple shapes within complex subjects.

Break the rules with tricks of the trade as taught by the art masters!

Painting:

Create a masterpiece one brushstroke at a time!

Use layers to add depth, colors to add contrast, and learn techniques to add details that make your art piece stand out.

3D Printing

Explore the wonders of CAD using Nomad Sculpt! Learn the essentials of 3D design, print your creations, and paint them for the finishing touch.

STEM

Ignite your inner scientist with explosively fun experiments!

Make independent discoveries, study the scientific process, and engineer from your imagination.

Challenge yourself to try new things, ask questions, and think outside of the box.

Learn concepts in coding/ robotics, understand principles in physics and chemistry, and invent unique solutions to real-world problems.

Clay Sculpting:

Build your favorite characters, animals, landscapes, and more in 3D form!

Use malleable air-dry clay to mix unique colors, mold simple shapes, and create your sculpture one step at a time.

Digital Animation:

Bring magical stories to life with hand-drawn animations! Explore lines, shapes, and colors using loopable time and rhythm.

Dive into this new form of art with step-by-step guidance from an engaging guide.

Crafting:

Tap into your creative genius as you transform simple materials into works of art!

Turn paper into notebooks, cardboard into houses, or popsicle sticks into a musical instrument. Let your creativity run wild as you invent from scratch!

Slime Making:

Learn the essentials of slime, from choosing the right ingredients to achieving the perfect consistency. Experiment with various textures, from fluffy to crunchy, and colors to create unique and satisfying slime sensations.

Bath Bomb Making:

Unleash fizzy fun making a bath bomb from scratch! Test scent and color combinations for a one-of-a-kind creation.

Cooking:

Whip up delicious fun learning basic cooking skills while making tasty treats. Mix, measure, and discover the joy of making your own food.

– Students will need a lunch. You may bring your own, or Valley Fair CPK is also delighted to offer a convenient lunch option for your little ones for just $7.
