Learn how to build a 3D model one shape at a time with the help of a skilled instructor. Students will create their favorite characters, animals, landscapes and more out of soft, air dry clay, play dough, or modeling clay. One session will also be dedicated to how to easily make your own colored play-dough or sculpting clay with common kitchen ingredients.
Students will be introduced to STEAM concepts through experiments and building contraptions using common household items. By empowering children with the freedom to make independent discoveries through the explorative scientific process, instructors will assist students with tinkering projects engineered of their own imagination. Recycled art projects will also be introduced.
You can’t have art without including some crafts! Students will learn how to take simple materials and bring them together in a fun and dynamic ways. With household items such as recycled cans or paper rolls, kids are encouraged to use their creativity to turn them into something new. Activities range from making planters, notebooks, bouquets, birdhouses, and lightsabers.
Students will be provided a complimentary canvas and will dive into learning basic brush stroke and painting techniques. Instructors will guide students step-by-step through building a painting layer by layer.
Students will learn how to sketch using basic shapes and shading techniques. Our instructors will discuss art concepts including soft strokes, values, proportions, shading and blending.
Students will explore digital illustration techniques and principles using Procreate. Instructors will cover composition, color theory, character design, and more. Students will also be able to master various painting techniques, understand the principles of shading and light and get to
know the Procreate app.

Camps are highly interactive and students will have the opportunity to socialize, play games and share their ideas in a fun and upbeat environment.
* Please note: This class is in person at our Westfield Valley Fair location, located in Santa Clara, Ca. Activities will vary day to day.
